My thoughts on the NARBC expo in Tinley Park

Well, this March's NARBC reptile expo wasn't as great as I hoped it would be. my father promised him that he'd take them.  This reptile expo was good since there were new reptiles there like a black headed python. You know each year they either have a crocodile or alligator near the entrance of the expo. I got my picture with an alligator called Bubby there as did Treon's two sons. There were many displays of reptiles and products for taking care of them like Zoomed enclosures, other places where you could by enclosures, repti-food...etc... I came there to get a new floor and new lighting for my 2 leopard geckos which I've gotten from my 8th grade teacher Ms.V who are about 11 years old now. We've gotten those two items as well as some JusrassI-Pet mealworms, crickets and caterpillars. There was also some Asian water monitors there as well, I saw some at last year's NARBC expo in Tinley Park.

We also saw Brian Barzyak at this expo as well, I've got to pleasure to meet him myself at the last NARBC expo along with meeting Peter Birch who narrates the episodes of the online series Critta-cam which is available on AnimalBytesTV's YT channel. We also saw some beautiful bearded dragons being presented by the Chicago Herpetological Society. We saw them there last year as well along with them presenting some leopard geckos. We also saw this guy with a few copies of a small book called me The Vemon Interviews which will soon be available on DVD which I plan to get. I was kinda bummed when I figured out Jason Miller from 5 Werid Animal Facts wasn't there. There were also a bunch of crested geckos that were there as well and some of those morphs there look quite stunning to me. There were also some beautiful Asian water monitors there again this year by B. Salvador. My dad took something  pictures of them last year, maybe I should have held one for a photo by my dad. One of them was out on a branch under a heat lamp while the smaller ones were in a enclosure moving around. We also saw some other species of monitors in a enclosure as well. There were also many different hognose snake morphs there, I especially found the axanthic ones there stunning.  There were also some yellow foot turtles which Treon's six old son got to pet, which look cool. There were also poison dart frogs there which are always awesome. We also saw sone gargoyle geckos there for sale as well. So this weekend's reptile expo was good, my dad and I will definitely go to the one in October if we can.
